PENILE ENLARGEMENT

For Whom Penile Enlargement is Suitable?

Penile enlargement surgery is suitable for men who are bothered by the size of their penis and wish to improve their self-confidence and sexual satisfaction. Men who have micropenis, a condition where the penis is abnormally small, may also be good candidates for penile enlargement surgery.

When Penile Enlargement is not Suitable?

Penile enlargement surgery may not be suitable for men who have unrealistic expectations about the results of the surgery or have a history of mental health conditions. It is also not recommended for men who have bleeding disorders or take blood thinners, as well as those who have a high risk of surgical complications.

What Techniques are Used in Penile Enlargement?

The two main techniques used in penile enlargement surgery are lengthening and girth enhancement. Lengthening involves cutting the suspensory ligament to increase the length of the penis, while girth enhancement involves injecting fat or dermal fillers into the penis to increase its circumference.

Preparation for Penile Enlargement Surgery

Before undergoing penile enlargement surgery, patients should stop smoking and avoid taking blood thinners and herbal supplements that may increase the risk of bleeding. They should also have a thorough medical evaluation to ensure they are healthy enough to undergo surgery.

Risks of Penile Enlargement Surgery

As with any surgery, penile enlargement surgery carries risks, such as bleeding, infection, and scarring. Additionally, some men may experience decreased sensation or erectile dysfunction after the surgery.

Procedure for Penile Enlargement Surgery

Penile enlargement surgery is typically performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. The lengthening procedure involves making an incision above the penis and cutting the suspensory ligament to release the penis from the pubic bone. The girth enhancement procedure involves injecting fat or dermal fillers into the penis through small incisions.

Healing Process Post OP

Patients may experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort in the first few days after penile enlargement surgery. It is important to avoid sexual activity for several weeks to allow the penis to heal properly. Most patients can return to work and normal activities within 1-2 weeks after surgery, but full recovery may take several months.
